The applications of methyl dichlorosilane in the reaction of hydrosilylation, condensation, hydrolysis, alcoholysis were discussed. Synthesis and application of chloropropylmethyldichlorosilane, ethylenemethyldichlorosilane, trifluoropropylmethyldichlorosilane, phenylmethyldichlorosilane, methylhydrocyclosiloxane, polymethylhydrosiloxane were introduced.
