An Appraisal Method and Application of Economic Operation Efficiency Based on DEA Model

提出经济运行效率(EOE)的概念和特点,运用数据包络分析(DEA)方法的C2R模型计算2003年度广东省21个地级市的经济运行效率指数并对其进行排序,交替使用C2R模型和BC2模型的计算结果判断各地级市的规模收益,深入分析计算结果并发现广东省各地级市目前经济发展中存在的一些问题,为广东省各地级市从根本上转变经济增长方式提供决策支持.

This paper puts forward the concept and characteristics of Economic Operation Efficiency （EOE）, calculates the EOE index of 21 prefectural-level cities of Guangdong in 2003 by using the C^2R model of Data Envelopment Analysis （DEA） and ranks those cities according to the EOE indexes, evaluates their scale revenues by alternatively using the results of C^2R model and BC^2 model, analyzes the calculation results and finds some problems existing in the economic development of those prefectural-level cities in Guangdong, providing decision-making support to those cities in transforming their pattern of economic growth.
