This paper introduces the basic situation of implementing the project of returning land for farming to forestry in Linfen City in 2001, makes a series of investigations and analyses on the developing situation of the subsequent industry of returning land for farming to forestry, and advances some suggestion on doing well returning land for farming to forestry.
