Application Study for Access Technology of Bi-Directional CATV Network

本文围绕如何利用有线电视网络资源开展宽带接入的主题,通过对有线电视接入网络结构、网络现状、主流接入技术DOCSIS、EPON标准发展、双向化建设需求的分析,展开对双向有线电视接入技术应用研究,并提出双向化接入技术应用策略。

In view of the trend of “Triple Play”,the bi-directional transformation of radio and TV network is a mater of great urgency. The core problem to resolve in the bi-directional transformation is how to use the CATV network resources to launch the broadband access. The author makes a deep analysis of current conditions of China’s CATV access network and relevant international standards and on this basis studies and discusses on the mainstream access technology and its application to the bi-directional CATV network. He also puts forward requirements of access technology for transforming into bi-directional network and an application strategy for bi-directional technology.
