略论晚清上海城市娱乐业的发展特征——兼与汉口比较

On Characteristics of the Development of City Entertainment Industry in the Late Qing Dynasty ——Also Comparing with Hankou

选择晚清两个重要口岸城市——上海和汉口作为研究对象,在对两者进行比较的基础上,归纳出各自城市娱乐业的发展特征,以期从社会生活层面为中国城市近代化历程提供一个新的考察视角。

This text chooses two important port cities Shanghai and Hankou as research objects, and concludes the characteristics of entertainment industry of each city by comparing themselves. The purpose is to provide a new angle of review for the course of the urbanization of Chinese cities from the aspect of social life.
