摘要 微小RNA(miRNAs,microRNAs)是一类在动植物中长度约为22个核苷酸,通过RNA干涉途径调节蛋白编码基因表达活性的非编码小分子RNA。微小RNAs来源于染色体的非编码区域,由70-120个碱基大小的可形成发夹结构的前体加工折叠形成茎环结构,其表达具有组织和时期特异性,是调节其他功能基因表达的重要调控分子,而且其中一些基因在进化上有很高的保守性。微小RNAs能抑制多个基因的表达,因此这些分子将会在控制基因表达方面发挥巨大的作用。作者对微小RNAs的识别、特征、作用机制及功能进行探讨。 Recent work has demonstrated that miRNAs are involved in critical biological processes by suppressing the translation of coding genes. This regulation occurs at a post-transcriptional,presumably translational level and is distinct from RNA interference. Researches suggested that they are conserved in size, structure and function. The characteristic, identify, mechanism and function of miRNA are mainly reviewed.
