朱熹论孔子与《尚书》之关系

Zhu Xi's View on the Relation between Confucius and The Book of Documents(Shangshu)

汉唐以来的学者论孔子与《尚书》之关系,其观点主要体现在三方面,其一是以为孔子编次或者删《书》为百篇,其二是以为《书序》为孔子所作,其三以为孔子以《书》教弟子。随着学术的发展,宋代学者开始对前两方面的认识发生变化。朱熹即表示了不同于前人的意见:于第一方面,至少表现出怀疑态度;于第二方面,则持否定态度。

From Han to Tang Dynasty,the ancient Chinese scholars＇ had three main views on the relation between Confucius and The Book of Documents（Shangshu） basically as following： 1. Confueius compiled or abridged The Book of Documents ;2. Confucius wrote the prologue of The Book of Documents ;3. The Book of Documents had ever been taught as one of his text-books to his disciples by Confucius. With the development of the discipline, however, the opinions of the scholars in Song Dynasty started to change and differentiate with those of their forerunners. For instance, Zhu Xi had his different attitudes： of those 3 views at least he suspected the first one of them, and denied the second.
