Study was made on expansion of Ta-W-Y alloy bar in the couse of moderatetemperature sintering. The paper analyses the source of expansion, relation of expansionrate to sintering temperature and W content,and put forward a 2-stage sintering method tosolve the bar's adhesion problem.
