2006年是西藏自治区近10年来经济增长最快的一年,而且伴随着经济的高速增长,经济结构更趋合理。在一定意义上可以说,西藏经济发展正式步入了跨越式发展的轨道。透过2006年经济运行态势的若干基本特征,可以判定西藏经济处于健康、良性的发展态势。根据当前的区内外形势,西藏经济发展急需提高投资效益和优化投资结构,并在壮大特色产业上取得突破,从而有效扩大全社会经济的就业容纳量,使又好又快的和谐发展进程更进一步。

2006 is a year with fastest economic growth over the last ten years, and the economic structure became equitable. From certain points, it is proper to say that the economy of Tibetan Autonomous Region has significantly developed. Through analysis of certain characters of the economic development of TAR in 2006, there is a clear tendency that the economy will grow continuiously and healthily. According to the current situation, it is still cricial to improve efficient of investment, optimize economic structure. At the same time, developing Tibetan unique industry and creating more employment opportunities is important.
