The design and running process of a new technology in dealing with the waste water from the big ditch in Changling refinery is described. This technology makes use of a new technics of ＂oil separation by gravity, flotation by air and filtration＂ . When it was put into practice, all the main indexes can measure up, and about 2000 m^3 per day fresh water was saved. The practice proved that the technology above can be used in other similar refineries and has a good future.
