George W. Bush’s New Strategy and the U. S. Predicament in Iraq

In order to deal with increasingly grim prospect of security situation in Iraq, U. S. President Bush puts forward a new strategy, and one of his measures is to request the Iraqi new government to take on more responsibilities. The measures also includes sending more U. S. troops to Iraq and exerting pressures on Iran and Syria, etc. But it is doubtful whether this new strategy will be working and the U. S. will be able to extricate itself from the predicament in Iraq.
