摘要
中国的现代艺术运动是在没有现代性生产和现代生活以及与之相适应的意识形态的条件下进行的。在没有本土现代性资源的条件下追求艺术的现代化,必定出现西方现代艺术的“拜物教”。抽象艺术作为西方现代主义艺术的核心问题,在新潮美术中承担了超越它自身的意义。新潮美术尽管在形式上模仿西方现代艺术,没有更新的创造,但具有特定的合理性和合法性,其内在动力则是对于现代化的诉求。
The modern art movements are carried out without the conditions of modern life and modern production as well as the ideology corresponding to them. Without the domestic resources of modernity, the pursuit of artistic modernization must lead to the “fetishism” that appeared in modern western art. The new wave of fine arts imitate modern western art without any innovation, but the imitation has its reason and legitimacy in the sense that its inner drive appeals to modernization.
