摘要
研究一种基于无线传感器网络的分布式检测融合系统的性能优化问题。融合系统由N部传感器构成,系统配置结构采用串行结构。在连接各部传感器的无线信道为非理想信道的条件下,推导了融合系统检测性能的全局最优化融合算法。采用该融合算法对系统性能进行优化,可获得明显高于单部传感器的检测性能。
Aim. Several past papers^[1-5] touched on the peculiar nature of non-ideal wireless communication channels, but they did not give the optimal fusion algorithm suitable for such non-ideal channels. We now present such an algorithm. We assume that the sensors are arranged in series. We first characterize the statistical characteristics of non-ideal communication channel by a parameter called channel transmission error rate and then, taking into account the effect of channel transmission errors, optimize the system performance. For any given channel error parameters, the necessary conditions for optimal sensor decision rules are derived and, based on these optimal conditions, optimal sensor decision rules are obtained via numerical iterative algorithm. Computer simulations with a two sensor serial system are carried out to evaluate the optimal system performance and some encouraging results, given in Figs. 2 and 3 in the full paper, are obtained. These results show preliminarily that, in the presence of moderate channel error rate, the system performance can be significantly better than that of a single sensor, while, for much larger channel error rate up to 0. 5, the system performance is at least as good as that of a single sensor.
