From Mechanism to Holism: Necessary Demand of Science Development and Environment Protection

近现代科学是以机械自然观作为基础的,由此形成相应的方法论原则。实际上,自然存在整体性的方面,由此将近现代科学方法论原则应用于认识自然时就存在欠缺,很大程度上不能体现自然的整体性,造成环境破坏。鉴于此,科学研究需要从机械论走向整体论,探寻新的方法论原则,以获得对整体性自然的更加正确、全面、系统的认识,以有利于环境保护。

Modern science is based in mechanism. From this informs corresponding methodology. In fact, nature has holistic quality. So there is shortcoming when the methodology is applied in recognizing mature. It can not reflect the holistic quali in certain degree, but leads to environment destroy. There is a need for science to go forward from mechanism to holism, and find new methodology, so as to attain correct, complete and more systematic knowledge to protect environment.
