摘要
文章主要对不列颠民族的英雄史歌《贝奥武甫》与苗族史歌《张秀眉》进行深层次的比较研究,分析和探讨它们之间社会历史背景与形式,思想内容以及艺术特色的共性与差异。这也是两大古老民族文化遗产的比较研究的一次尝试。
The essay aims to contrast and study the British epic＂ Beowulf＂ and the Miao＇s epic＂ Zhang Xiumei＂ from a more profound angle. It is to analyze and explore the similarities and differences in their social and historical settings, their forms, their themes and contents and their artistic features. This is also a try to contrast and study the cultural heritage of the two old peoples-the Miao and the British.
