A Smooth Slow-start for Broadband Satellite Networks

摘要 分析了标准慢启动策略在宽带卫星网络中性能下降的原因,提出了一种均滑式慢启动策略,通过定时器中断来控制数据发送,均匀网络负载,减少网络拥塞.NS仿真表明,均滑式慢启动在高带宽时延积的宽带卫星网络中平滑了数据突发,改善了传输性能. This paper analyzes the performance degradation of normal slow-start in broadband satellite networks, A smooth slow-start scheme is presented to solve this degradation, It smoothes network load and reduces probability of network congestion through control packets transmission by timer interrupt, NS simulation results show that smooth slow-start disperse burst packet transmission and improve the throughput performance
