Native Adaptation Route of Euthanasia

我国每年有近一百三十万人死于癌症,民意调查显示,其中有相当一部分人对安乐死有强烈需求,现实生活中的事实安乐死也比比皆是,而我国相关立法议案虽然提了近二十年,却依然没有列入立法规划。笔者以为,主要原因在于没有从理论和实践两个层面对其本土化进行论证,文章试从这两个层面加以探讨。

Each year, 1 million and 300 thousand people die from cancer in our country. Public opinion poll shows that a big portion of those people have a strong desire of euthanasia, also known as ＂the happiness＂ death, and in fact many people have chosen euthanasia. Although the euthanasia-related law proposal was introduced in our country as early as nearly 20 years ago, but it is still not included in our legislation plan. The main reason for this difficulty is that the feasibility of native adaptation route of euthanasia is not discussed and validated both in theory and in practice. This paper discusses this feasibility both in theory and in practice.
