Compared to conventional cutting machining, the high speed cutting machining technology has many advantages in increasing productivity, improving accuracy and quality of machined part. It promotes development, research and practical application in industry of high speed cutting machining technology using NC. The article presents the characteristics, development status and trend of high speed cutting machining technologies.
