Driven by fashion and functional criteria, there is a steady, worldwide rise in demand for PET micro-and super-microfilament yarns. Using a PET dtex 110/f 333 as an example, the state-of-the-art of super-microfiber manufacture （spinning） and textile further processing （texturing, package dyeing and use as a weft supply package） are described.
