都市期刊生态结构的比较研究——以纽约和上海为例

A Comparative Study of the Ecological Structure of the Magazines in New York and Shanghai

期刊是现代文化的一个重要组成部分,也是特别能够与都市要素相融合的大众传播媒介。这里的“都市要素”包括地理位置、人口构成、经济发展、教育水平、文化氛围和新兴思潮等。对于纽约、巴黎、米兰或东京之类的国际化大都市而言,现代期刊既有实用意义,又有象征意义。现围绕城市期刊生态结构的主题,以纽约和上海为例,做一比较研究。范围涉及国际化大都市与期刊的发展基地、现代期刊的影响范围和作用、以流动为标志的期刊的开放性和兼容性等方面。

In this paper, the authors conduct a comparative study of the ecological structure of metropolitan magazines in New York City versus in Shanghai. The aspects of the study include： the relationship between the city globalization and the develop- ment base of modern magazines, the influence and impact of metropolitan magazines, the quality of openness and inclusiveness as magazines are constantly on the move, etc..
