As the unique multidisciplinary and comprehensive research institute of China railway,China Academy of Railway Sciences(CARS)has been playing scientific supporting role in speed-up,heavy-haul,PDL,Qinghai-Tibet Railway construction,safety guarantee and informationization.In the process of boosting harmonious railway construction,CARS should intensify the sense of strategy,urgency about lagging behind,reform and innovation.With the target of creating world top scientific institute,CARS should comprehensively enhance scientific innovation ability,undertake major comprehensive scientific experiments,provide technology and information service,improve the level of commercialization of research findings,set up advanced technical equipment platform according to the industry demand,and intensify personnel training.
