摘要
UMTS网络所提供的数据业务主要基于TCP和UDP两种传输层协议,其网络瓶颈无疑在WCDMA无线接口。如何充分利用WCDMA无线资源和提高实际的频谱效率,将是3G网络部署值得关注的问题。而TCP和UDP两种协议本身是基于有线网络特征制定的,对于WCDMA无线接口将需要根据其特征对TCP和UDP协议参数进行优化,以达到优化WCDMA无线性能的目的。本文结合WCDMA无线特性和TCP基本原理对TCP的参数设定进行定性和定量的分析。
Data operation provided by UMTS is based on two kinds of protocol in transport layer named TCP and UDP, bottle-neck is wireless interface of WCDMA. Most important point in deploying 3G is that how to take full advantage of wireless resources and actual usage of frequency. TCP and UDP are established based on wire network, so we need to improve the parameter to unleash the power of WCDMA. This paper introduce the speciality of TCP and UDP, and analysis settings of parameter of TCP qualitatively and quantitatively.
