This article outlines the progression of electronic journal access through title list in the universities＇ library in USA, including high-maintenance web lists, low-maintenance web lists, vendor e-journal lists such as EBSCO online, listing services such as serials solutions and the use of SFX technique. Compared with the situation of e-journal＇s resource management in the Chinese academic libraries, this paper explained the advantages＇ and disadvantages of every method, for the purpose of providing the reference for the organization management of e-journal.
