This paper discusses sealing of the engine cylinders with the technical and theoretical discussion and clearly defines the parameters of how the engine cylinder sealing test data. Automobile engine is the heart of the power source of motor vehicles, and related to vehicle dynamic economy and reliability of the engine and other indicators. Cylinder engine determines the quality and life of the components. Based on the compression cylinder, crankcase gas leakage, or the amount of cylinder leakage cylinder leakage rateparameters such as intake manifold vacuum testing methods, this paper is to further enhance the understanding of the engine sealing, to improve the life of the engine
