Probing Potentials of Multiple Cropping in the Selected Provinces in China

文章测算了中国历年的实际复种指数,利用地理信息系统的空间分析功能计算了各地区的最大复种指数和复种发展潜力,并从经济学的角度研究了各地区的复种行为,提出了因地制宜地挖掘各地复种潜力的对策。

The author calculates the historical as well as actual multiple cropping index in China by utilizing spatial analysis function in Geographic Information System (GIS). Potential multiple-cropping indexes are estimated from the view of economic rationalities. Measures in accord with local conditions are advised to explore the potential to practice the multiple-cropping pattern.
