摘要
以苯乙烯(St)、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)二元共聚乳液为种子,通过无皂种子乳液共聚合,制得具有一定交联度的P(St-MMA-AA)乳液。将稀释后的该乳液在90℃下依次用碱、酸各处理3h,首次得到了具有多孔结构的P(St-MMA-AA)乳胶粒。透射电镜结果表明,碱、酸处理后胶粒体积增大了37%。
Latex particles with multihollow structure were synthesized by seeded emulsion polymerization, thus, a seed latex consisting of styrene(St) methyl methacrylate(MMA) copolymer was first prepared, and seeded terpolymerization of St MMA AA(acrylic acid) with ethyl glycol dimethyl methacrylate(EGDMA) as cross linking agent was then carred out in the absence of surfactant, the monomer mixture was continuously added into the reactor containing the seed latex of St MMA copolymer within 5 h. Final latex was then treated by alkali and acid subsequently at 90 ℃ for 3 h, particles with multihollow structure were obtained and characterized by TEM. The particle volume increases by 37% after alkali and acid treatments, and the average number of hollows per particle is 8.
