摘要
综合英语课程是贯穿于英语专业学生整个学业阶段的一门主干课程,是完成对学生进行专业基础知识和基本技能的训练,实现"加强学生语言基本功和综合交际能力目的和要求"的一门重要课程。然而,由于学校培养目标的定位不同,各高职高专院校的综合英语课程建设就有所不同,存在着诸如课程设置、教材建设、教师队伍建设、专业教学水平与测试衡量标准等问题,直接影响英语专业的教学水平和质量。针对这些问题,本文提出了一些建设性的意见和思考。
Comprehensive English is a main course for students majoring in English, which students have to study through all the years in colleges. Its purpose lies in that students should not only learn some knowledge but also practice four basic skills of English so as to strengthen students' linguistic competence and communicative competence. However, the goal of it is different from college to college. Therefore, when constructing the syllabus for the course we should base on program,textbooks,teachers and assessments so as to improve the teaching quality.
