农民工现象是我国现代化过程中呈现的特殊政治现象和亟待解决的政治问题,它对当代中国政治发展的作用是双重的:既有可能推进基层民主政治发展、促进政治体制改革,也有可能影响政治稳定。

Parent-worker is a special political phenomenon and an urgent political problem to be solved which is resulted from modernization of China. It acts on Chinese political development in two aspects： positive and negative. It can promote democratic development in gross root politics, and reformation of Chinese political system on one hand, and affect political steadiness on another.
