To resolve the problem of multi-networks inter-connection independently between inter-campuses in many universities, the solution scheme of extending fiber channels based on CWDM technology is put forward by analyzing the constructing actuality of campus network in many universities and by comparing and researching the CWDM technical characteristics, especially according as its special advantages of application. There is a practical example to illuminate the realization of the solution scheme.
