摘要
本文旨在探讨分析在我国,学生的人格因素与其英语学习之间的关系。心理学家和语言教育家早已认识到研究人格因素与外语学习之间关系的重要性并进行了大量研究,然而研究的结果却大相径庭。本论文通过对大学非英语专业学生的抽样调查来探讨上述问题,结果表明,学生的人格因素对其听力和阅读有较大影响,而对其他语言能力则无甚影响。外向性格的学生听力较强而内向性格的学生阅读能力较佳,但其总成绩差别甚微。本文分为四部分:相关研究的回顾、本调查的设计、结果与发现、分析与讨论。
In the process of foreign language learning, many factors interact to influence the learners' learning achievement. Among them, the individual difference attract many researchers' attention. However, the results and findings of the researches are sometimes contradictory and not always unquestionable. This research is designed for verifying the results of other studies and finding out the relationship between personality traits and EFL learning in the Chinese context, thereby making some contributions to the EFL teaching and learning. This thesis consists of four parts: literature review, the design of the research, results and findings, and discussion.
