摘要
作者在本文介绍了三类传真机实现文件幅面压缩的原理，提出了一种循环查表压缩幅面信息的方法。该方法提高了压缩图象幅面的速度。
This paper deals with the principles governing the reduction of document width by Group 3 Facsimile and offers a new approach to compressing the information of documents. With this approach, the reduction ration of document width can be greatly enhanced.
