摘要
本文描述了一种新的图像特征提取方法.它基于小波变换的多尺度方法,这种方法通过对二进尺度下图像小波变换局部极大值的检测提取图像边缘特征.文中给出了图像特征提取的实例.
A new method which is used to extract features of the image is introduced in this paper. It is based on the wavelet transform which provides a multiscale analysis of the image. By determining the local maxima of the wavelet transform at dyadic scale of the image,it provides information of the image boundaries features. The practical examples of a features extraction image are shown in the paper.
