Selection and application of measuring instruments for special medium is one of the great problems, which has puzzled the instrument engineers for years, in industrial units such as nitric acid plant. This paper mainly focuses on analysis of application cases in nitric acid plant of Sichuan Lutianhua Co., Ltd. which can be helpful for instnrument enginner inside the industry correctly selecing the instruments.
