Impact sidewall coring guns are used almost in every oilfield of China. In 1990′s, a new sidewall coring gun SLSQ Ⅱ and its associated equipment ——SLSQ Ⅱ controller was developed successfully by Shengli Logging Company. Technical specifications, applications and features for the above devices are detailed. By comparison, the new gun has an appreciable advantage over the same kind at home and abroad in performance.
