“孝”是中华民族优秀的文化传统,是家庭伦理的核心。新的孝道包括:赡养之责、敬重之心、关心理解之情,发展“孝文化”是构建和谐社会的首要前提,是增强中华民族凝聚力的必由之路,是理顺人际关系、治理国家的有效途径,是传承中国文化的重要机制。构建和谐社会发展孝文化需要建立平等、民主、互益的新型家庭伦理道德体系,开展多种形式的精神文明创建活动以及注重“孝”道德教育与法律调控相结合。

＂Filial piety＂ is the outstanding culture tradition of the Chinese nation,and the core of family ethics. The new filial duty includes duty to support,the high esteem of heart,and the feeling of consideration. The development of ＂filial piety culture＂ is the premise of constructing harmonious society, the only way to strengthen the Chinese nation＇s cohesiveness, the effective approach to rational human relations and govern country,and the important mechanism to inherit the Chinese culture. To construct harmonious society and develop the ＂filial piety culture＂, we not only need to establish equal, democratic, mutually beneficial system of the new family ethics and morality, but also to carry out various activities of spiritual civilization foundation and to pay attention to the unification of the moral education of ＂filial piety＂ and the law control.
