Reverse design is an important technology of the modern automotive body＇s quickly exploitation. This paper introduces the automotive body exploitation process , the key technologies of reverse design and the applied sofiwares. Through point cloud data collecting, curved surface reconstruction and surface data quality evaluation, analyses the application condition of reverse design in automotive body exploitation.
