From "Dageda" to "Konglong": A Discussion of Weblect

本文提出“网络方言”这一概念,并从社会语用学的视角剖析了“网络方言”的产生背景、存在的现状,预测了它的未来命运。认为:研究语言不能不研究网络方言;网络方言遵循着“适者生存”的自然规律和“约定俗成”的社会规律;各种网络方言服务于各种语境和语用目的;对网络方言应该持理性的、宽容的态度。

This thesis raises the term weblect, Before delving into its generation background and its status quo, and predicting its future development. The final part of the paper expounds eight ideas： linguistic study cannot go without weblect; weblect follows the natural law of survival of the fittest; the social law of ＂acceptation through common practice＂; weblect of various kinds serves various contexts and pragmatic goals, etc. To sum up, we should have a rational and tolerant attitude towards weblect.
