试述构建和谐社会与大理佛教发展的双向互动

On the interaction between construction of a harmonious society and development of Buddhism in Dali

构建和谐社会人人有责,和谐社会人人共享。构建和谐社会、建设和谐大理与大理佛教应该是一个和谐互动的统一体。本文列举了大理佛教史上的几个和谐实践,论述了大理佛教在构建和谐社会、建设和谐大理的过程中所能发挥的独特而积极作用。在佛教为构建和谐大理发挥积极作用的同时,和谐大理的建设也将为佛教转换自身功能,积极适应社会主义现代化提供千载难逢的机遇。因此,作者认为,我们既要关注和梳理大理佛教史上的和谐实践,也要切实研究当前处境下如何实现和谐社会与佛教发展的双向良性互动。

Construction of a harmonious society requires everyone＇s effort and a harmonious society benefits all. Construction of a harmonious society, or rather, a harmonious Dali should be interactively identified with a Buddhist Dali. The article cites a few harmony-oriented instances in Dali＇s history of Buddhism and explicates Buddhism＇s unique and positive role in building a harmonious Dali. While Buddhism playing its positive role in building a harmonious Dali, it would be, in return, offered a rare opportunity to gear its own functions with the socialist modernization of Dali. Therefore, the author believes that we must give due attention to and comb up the harmony-oriented instances in Dali＇ s history of Buddhism and, on the other hand, substantively study how to accomplish in present circumstances the reciprocal interaction between a harmonious society and the Buddhist advance.
