论直白强调与隐含强调

Explicit emphasis and implicit emphasis

强调功能体现于语言的各个层面,其表达手段十分丰富。强调作为交流思想的有效手段历来受到学界的关注。学界对强调的关注大多着眼于强调手段的分类,而且基本遵循一种思路,即按照不同表达方式把它分为语音强调、词汇强调、语法强调和修辞强调。这种传统的分类法显然有其不足。言语交际中存在着“直白强调”和“隐含强调”两种基本的强调类型。这两种强调体现方式不尽相同,其表达效果也不尽相同。

Emphatic fimction is realized by many different means at almost all linguistic levels. Because of their forcefulness and effectiveness in communication, emphatic devices have attracted attention from linguists and scholars. But unfortunately, their attention has mostly been on the classification of emphatic means or devices, which are always traditionally grouped into the phonological, lexical, grammatical and rhetorical, obviously,The traditional classification is not adequate, the author sug- gests that emphasis should be primarily classified as the explicit and the implicit, which have different features ,different realizations and effects in communication.
