我国农业“走出去”要向两端进发

＂Two Ends＂ of ＂Go Global＂ Strategy in Agriculture

我国是农业和人口大国，“三农”问题一直是我国政府工作的重中之重。当前，农业“走出去”已成为我国发展战略之一，对缓解我国资源短缺与环境约束，减轻主要农产品依赖进口带来的风险，提升我国农业国际竞争力，发挥着Et益重要的作用，对于推进社会主义新农村建设，构建和谐社会有着重大意义。

Howadays, the ＂Go Global＂ strategy in agriculture becomes one of China＇s development strategies, which play an increasingly important role in relieving China＇s resource shortage and environmental restraint as well as in Sharpening the international competitiveness of China＇s agriculture. In recent years, the ＂Go Global＂ strategy in agriculture has won initial success. By the end of 2005, a total investment of 899 million US dollars has been made in agricultural cooperation abroad. Tapping the advantages in technologies and equipment of agro-production, the Chinese firms have yielded encouraging fruits in launching the agricultural development cooperation in Africa and Latin America with comparative advantages. There are ＂two ends＂ for the ＂Go Global＂ strategy in agriculture, one being the development of natural agro-resources abroad by full use of overseas resources, the other being the utilization of ago-technology resources abroad with optimizing the global resource allocation.
