摘要
委婉语的应用是英汉语言的共有现象,学会英汉委婉语的应用,可以增强语感,提高交际能力.从一些具体实例分析了英汉委婉语的应用以及社会习俗和人们观念对委婉语表达的影响.
The application of euphemism is a similarity between English and Chinese languages. Learning how to use English and Chinese euphemisms shall enhance learners＇ sense of language and intercommunicating ability. This paper analyzes the influences of social customs and concepts on the application of English and Chinese euphemisms.
