Isolation and Identification of Infectious Bursal Disease Virus in Egg-Layers

从１２０日龄疑似法氏囊病鸡群采取法氏囊，用鸡胚－细胞交替法成功地分离到一株病毒。经电镜观察、琼脂扩散、细胞中和、免疫保护等试验均表明该分离物和标准ＩＢＤＶ具有共同抗原性，证明该分离物为ＩＢＤＶ。

A Virus strain was successfully obtained with chicken embryo-cell alternative culturing from bursa tissue of 120 days-old chickens suspectedly infected with infectious bursal disease.The isolate was thermal-stable, would be inactivated at 70℃ for one hour and resist to ether and chloroform.The isolate was confirmed to be infectious bursal disease virus based on electron microscopic examination,agar gel immuno-diffusion test,cell neutralization test and immune protection test.This was contradictory to the general consideration that infectious bursal disease only invade chicks and young birds.
