On Mao Zedong's Thought about Party's Advancement Construction in the Second Session of the Seventh Party Representatives' Congress

在全国胜利的前夜,中国共产党召开了具有伟大历史意义的七届二中全会。毛泽东提出在夺取全国政权后,要经得住执政的考验,“务必使同志们继续地保持谦虚谨慎、不骄不躁的作风,务必使同志们继续地保持艰苦奋斗的作风”。加强和改进党的建设,不断增强党的创造力、凝聚力和战斗力,始终保持和维护党的生机与先进性。

Just during the critical period of time when New China was ready to be founded, the Chinese Communist Party held Second Session of the Seventh Party Conference. Mao Zedong put forward that we must undergo the test of being in power after seizing the political power in all China. ＂We must keep the style of modesty and cautiousness without pride and restlessness ; we must continue to keep the style of working hard＂. This paper discuss how to strengthen and improve Party construction, continuously enhance the rallying power and combat capability of the Party, and always maintain its vigor and advance.
