通过不同饮苗剂量组合和不同时间间隔组合的选择试验，确定Ｒ１—２３固体培养弱毒活菌苗两次饮水免疫的最适总剂量为每只５０亿个活菌即２５亿＋２５亿饮苗剂量组合。两次饮苗的最佳间隔时间为４８小时。免疫鸡以每只初次饮服２５亿个Ｒ１—２３活菌后，间隔４８小时再饮服２５亿个Ｒ１—２３活菌的方法免疫，可产生９０—１００％的近期免疫保护率。
