新词语的认定及其为词典收录等问题

Some Issues of Chinese Neologisms: the Ascertainment and the Lexiconizing

新词语从本质上说是一种过渡性词语,每个时代也都有各自时代的新词语。新词语的判定有两个参照点一是其出现的时间,二是其与已有词语的区别。新词语词典应分为两类一类是即时型,一类为稳定型。前者宜以年度为单位将当年内出现的新词语无一遗漏地全部收录,后者则要容收取对象稳定一段时间而后再有选择地予以收取。新词语词典收条不应太受政治风潮的影响,还要与流行词语词典严格区别开来。

Neologisms are in essence transitional words, and arise with time. They are ascertained by the time of their emergence and the differences between them and existing words. There should be two kinds of neologism dictionaries ： the timely ones and the stable ones. The former should include all the new words in the year while the latter should include only those new words that have become stable over time. Neologisms dictionaries should neither be influenced by political current, nor confuse themselves with dictionaries of popular words.
