Studies on the Anther Vestige in Hybrid Rice Seeds and Its Application

水稻杂交种子和保持系的花药遗迹，按其颜色、两端形状及中央药隔线，可分为雄性不育型（Ａ型）、雄性可育型（Ｂ型）和介于两者之间的Ｃ型，根据其数量和百分率。

Anther vestige is the remaining anthers inside the glume of rice seeds. The anther vestiges of rice hybrid seeds and maintainer seeds can be divided into the male-sterile type (Type A), the male-fertile type (Type B) and the intermediate type (Type C) according to color, shape of both ends and central connective line of the anther vestiges. Based on the number and percentage of different types in the seeds, the truthfulness and purity of hybrid rice seeds can be identified effectively in hybrid rice seed production.
