摘要
为了对元代铜权上的回鹘式蒙古文铭文进行重新识读,通过利用中、日、俄、德等国突厥语学者的研究成果,结合《元史》、吐鲁番出土文书,考证出该词的拉丁字母转写应为“batman(batma)”或“patman(patma)”,汉译作“巴特满”或“帕特曼”,原意为“秤”,后演变为重量单位,主要在宋元时代中亚和吐鲁番地区、蒙元时期的京畿地区以及清前期塔里木盆地边缘各城镇中流行。
Based on the efforts of Turkic researchers in China, Japan, Russia and Germany, the history of the Yuan Dynasty and unearthed documents in Turpan, the Uighur- Mongulian inscription "BATMAN" on the Bronze Bobweight of the Yuan Dynasty was re-examed and the Latin form of this inscription should be "batman (batma)" or " patman (patma) ", and the Chinese version is "Ba Teman(巴特满)" or "Pa Teman(帕特曼)"The inscription,which means scale originally, has evolved to refer to a name of weight unit and has been popular in central Asia and Turpan in the Song-Yuan Dynasty, capital city and its environs in the Yuan Dynsty, and cities around Tarim Basin before the Qing Dynasty.
