摘要
为了更好借鉴国外大学图书馆的管理模式及服务理念,提高国内图书馆的服务质量和资源共享水平,在对美国马里兰大学图书馆简要介绍的基础上,对马里兰大学图书馆同西北工业大学图书馆、美国国家教育中心发布的大学图书馆调查报告和陕西省“211”院校图书馆统计的基本情况进行对比分析。结果表明:美国大学图书馆联盟的运作,以人为本的服务理念,良好的馆际合作、广泛的资源共享为读者全方位文献保障提供了有力支撑和快捷的服务,值得国内大学图书馆学习和借鉴。
In order to learn the management pattern and service idea of foreign university library, improve the service quality and the level of resources sharing of domestic university library. A brief introduction is made to the University of Maryland libraries, then a comparative analysis is conducted between University of Maryland libraries and Northwestern Polytechnical University libraries, the survey report issued by American National Education Center is compared with the fundamental state revealed by colleges and universities that belong to 211 Project in Shaanxi Province. The result indicated that American libraries union, service idea of people foremost, good inter - library cooperation, widespread resources sharing can offer all - dimensional guarantee of required documents to the readers, which was worth studying for China's university's libraries.
