《郗氏墓识》考辨

A Research on the Identification of Ms Xi's Grave

2006年2月8日,浙江《绍兴晚报》披露:王羲之夫人郗璿的墓碑重见天日,以为“此碑的发现对考证王羲之生平及其家族史意义重大”。但从两晋墓志文的结构来看,《郗氏墓识》既不合乎各类传世墓志的规格,其独成一格之处又不大合理。全篇没有墓主的名字,除了全篇都是人名以外,没有一字涉及墓主生平。结合碑文的多处记事疏失论之,不像东晋时人写的,赝作的可能性很大。

As is disclosed by Zhejing Evenings on February 8^th, 2006, the gravestone of Xi Xuan, the wife of WANG Xizhi, has been discovered. It is thought that its discovery has a great significance for the research of WANG Xizhi＇s lifetime and his family history. However, seen from the structure of inscription in the Jin Dynasty, the identification of Ms Xi＇s grave does not accord with traditional standard and it is also unreasonable for its uniqueness. In the whole epitaph, there is nothing concerned with the name of its owner or owner＇s life except for some names. With so many careless mistakes, the epitaph does not seem to have been written by East Jinese, but rather a counterfeit of it.
