Language and Culture Gaps in the Teaching of Chinese Language for Japanese Students

In the teaching of Chinese language for Japanese students, it is found out that language and culture gaps exist in the two languages. This paper discusses, classifies and analyzes the gaps and presents ways to avoid misunderstanding caused by the gaps.
